Médiane Système became a member of the OPC Foundation, global organisation representative of The Industrial Interoperability Standard.
This membership allows Médiane Système to:
- Have the latest information concerning the OPC UA standard.
- Join working groups to participate in the development of the OPC standard evolutions.
- Access the OPC compliance testing tools.
- Access the OPC certification laboratory for testing the products of Médiane Système and its customers.
OPC (Open Platform Communications) is the interoperability standard for the secure and reliable exchange of data in the industrial automation space and in other industries. It is platform independent and ensures the seamless flow of information among devices from multiple vendors. The OPC Foundation is responsible for the development and maintenance of this standard (Mission Statement).
